Our N.M. Fedorovsky Polar University is one of the most unique institutions of higher education in Russia. It is the only state university on Taymir and the northernmost in the country.

In less than 100 years PSU has turned from an evening industrial institute with several dozen students into an innovative technical university, where today more than 5 thousand students get professions of the future. The transformations continue – we are working on the formation of a new image of our university and strive to reflect the values traditionally close to our students, professors, and scientists in all of the activities of PSU. These values are freedom, courage, respect, mutual assistance, knowledge and development. Together we create the future, collaborate, think global and make the world better.

The university does everything to ensure that our students get a promising professional education and can influence not only the life of our city, but the life of a whole country. The diploma of PSU is a guarantee of employment in leading Russian and international companies, many of which are the partners of the university. It is possible to get a job in them already at the training stage, after practices and internships.
